Sahlep

Salep orchis (Orchis mascula subsp. salepina) is an endemic orchid species of Turkey. Salep orchis is a plant, usually 10-30 cm tall, with purple flowers and cattle tongue-shaped leaves. Salep orchid grows on limestone soils and is often found in woodlands, meadows and rocky areas.
